Yoga Services
One of Michelle’s passions is making yoga and its beautiful gifts accessible to all who seek it.
In addition to offering instruction on the physical practice, which can be customized for each student, group or office environment, Michelle also weaves philosophy, self-love, and meditation into her sessions. Michelle is available for private one-on-one and small group classes and office sessions. She also teaches group beginner- and intermediate-level classes at nearby studios virtually. Michelle offers:
Asana (physical movement)
Meditation
Pranayama (breath work)
Reiki
Michelle’s specialized offerings include:
Yoga for Emotional Wellbeing
Yoga helps the body and mind slow down in order to bring awareness to patterns of relating to the world around us. By focusing on the body and breath, we can help manage the nervous system and stress response, leading to more emotionally well-balanced lives. This type of class benefits anyone who wishes to find greater mindfulness and compassion in their lives.
Ancient Wisdom for Modern Wellbeing: You and Your Chakras
Come and explore your energetic anatomy. These classes provide an in-depth look at the chakras and the physical and emotional realms it governs. Classes will explore ways to bring your chakras into better balance and find personal paths to better wellbeing—using movement, meditation and breath. If you are interested in deepening your practice to include a knowledge of chakras, or are simply seeking tools to help navigate your stressful, modern life, these classes are beneficial.
Prenatal
During pregnancy the body goes through many changes—both physically and emotionally. Yoga supports pregnant people through these changes with individualized movement, breath, meditation, and a focus on Self. Benefits include reduced stress and discomfort and increased endurance and self-awareness, helpful for a more-easeful pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum.
Postnatal
Post-birth, the body goes through many changes—both physically and emotionally. Yoga supports new moms through these changes with individualized movement, breath, meditation, and a focus on Self. Benefits include reduced stress and discomfort and increased endurance and self-awareness, helpful for a more-easeful postpartum.
Postnatal for Emotional Wellbeing
Yoga helps the body and mind slow down in order to bring awareness to habitual patterns of relating and responding to the world around us. By focusing on the body and breath we can help manage the nervous system and stress response, leading to more emotionally well-balanced lives. This type of practice is well-suited—but not limited—to those experiencing any perinatal mood disorder.
Baby & Me/Us
This practice is a fun way to ease back into movement while connecting both emotionally and physically with baby. Classes emphasize self-care for parent(s) and bonding with baby.
Couples Connection
It can be difficult to find time for you and your partner to be in the same room together, let alone nurture each other and experience your unique connection. Take some time to reconnect with classes that emphasize self-care, communication and compassion.
Family Fun
It can be difficult to find time for the family to connect and have fun together. Take some time to connect as a family with a playful yoga practice suitable for everyone.
Reiki Services
Reiki is a form of energy work through which a universal energy is transferred through the practitioner to the client in order to encourage emotional and physical wellbeing. Sessions are customized to your needs and goals.
